6/20/2023 0 Comments Dxo optics pro 11 update![]() ![]() Get home, sort children out, cook for them, tidy up and all the domestic things that need to be done. I’ve shot the job probably 700 to 1000+ RAW images on two to three cameras, some JPEG’s on Fuji. Had to shoot and deal with all the things and people involved in the day. For example my day has probably started way too early, something with a 3, 4 or 5 in the hours, then I’ve probably driven half way across the country (the UK is small by US standards but very congested). I know this is where a considerable amount of the ‘magic’ is supposed to happen and how shooting RAW gives huge levels of flexibility, bla, bla, bla… The only thing which is disappointing and I’ve mentioned to CaptureOne is the web gallery export doesn’t support 2x or 3x images for Retina displays so galleries look decidedly soggy on HiDef devices.įor me one of the worst bits about being a paid photographer is the endless hours spent in Post. Speed of output in CaptureOne is excellent.ĬaptureOne V11.1 now out but don’t really think it’s worth my hard earned € or £ better wait to V12. Some of the results, especially noise suppression perhaps aren’t as good as DXO which has now updated to DXO PhotoLab and DXO have subsequently filed for bankruptcy in France, so not looking good on that front. Just for the update, I settled on CaptureOne 10 and it’s worked well, handles the pressure and gets the job done.
