If you are in that category of gamer, you'll likely be super fussy about your mouse and what it can and cannot do. Is this for the super-hard-core gamer? Maybe, but more than likely not. I have used several other mouses (meese?) with no problem. Overall Review: I don't know if this is just a problem related to Elder Scrolls, but I kind of doubt it. I connected my old mouse and put the H510 back in the box. BUT, the next day it didn't work again when in the game environment. I reconnected the H510 and it started working. I had to connect my old mouse in order to log off. I couldn't even log off because of the buttons. BUT, on the second day that I used this mouse the buttons would not work once I logged on to the game. It was bulky and didn't slide on the mouse pad as well as my previous mouse did, but I felt like I could put up with that. There was no included software, so I found it on the web and installed it. When I opened the box I found an instruction booklet that said to install the included software. Cons: I wanted a mouse where I could program extra buttons to work with the on line game Elder Scrolls.
